Ok so I got Hard Evidence today, and I disagree with Blotched Blogger on his review. I'll admit the character models could of been done a bit better, other than that it is a very cool game. I am enjoying it very much, well done on another great game Telltale!:D

It's actually not bad. The game has kind of a Clue feel to it. The only real issue is you have a limited number of cases for the game. Once you have played them all, you have to buy an expansion.

One minor quibble for me is why do you need 5 cases in a game... the next gen consoles can handle a few more cause of disk space and such.

The number of cases we make for a game has more to do with the time schedule and budget we are given to make the game than the space available on the disks.

Will there be more CSI games from you?

Obviously we'd love to do another CSI game, but unfortunately we can't talk about whether or not we're doing another one.

I think it goes without saying that those who have played any of the CSI games would love nothing more than the games to continue coming.
I agree that 5 cases just doesn't seem adequate, maybe it's because once you've played you know the drill or maybe they need to be a bit more in depth and difficult to solve. It would be nice if I didn't have to wait ages and ages for the next game because they are too short. What do I know though, I just play them lol
Initialy I was unsure of the new look, from cursor to lab work but I soon got used to it, I didn't like the bug collecting or thoroughness points, it seemed a waste of time or just something to fill in gaps when the creators imagination was running short.
I was also very disappointed by the way the characters looked...I can't ogle my favourite CSI's the way i used to hehehehe
Oh well,I seem to have complained more than anything but it's more because I can't get enough lol
Hopefully our comments (both good and bad) will be considered with the next CSI :~)

Aren't those all totally optional interactions? I was under the impression that they were included in the game because in all the previous CSI games, the useless corners of environments were just that - empty space with nothing to do.

Optional maybe, but without them you don't get to be a Master :)

Of course, I suppose allowing you to become "master" and making useless corners accessible and interactive is better than nothing but my point was that they could have been put to better use.
For example, any crime scene, particularly those in a public place, have more than just the suspect and victim prints and relevant forensic evidence. maybe a few red herrings would make us think a little more, make the game longer and give us the opportunity to decide what evidence is relevant to the case and what was there prior to the incident.
pmsl I'm not sure I made sense there but I'm sure you bright people will know what I mean!:D

Well I don't think that TT has the budget for more cases but what about longer cases ?
