I am ok with being an episode behind other platforms but now episode 4 is out for other platforms. So what's taking so long.

i've bought the game + the season pass on my iPad 2 and i enjoyed every second of playing the game and i finished both episodes 1 - 2 :D
and im waiting for episode 3 but its not available yet even tho episode 4 came
out for other Platforms so my question is Why are they doing this ?? :confused:
we paid money not sand !!! :mad:

According to sources it's meant to be out this month at some point, They have been very very vague so we're left quite lictually in the dark I was told it was coming out at the end of last month or the beginning of this month so as you can imagine It was quite a disappointment to say the least. Hopefully they might bring episode 3 and 4 at the same time That could be a possibility and it would explain why we have waited so long.

If you have upgraded recentley as I have done via the App Store. There is a new notification software which with the update will alert you when there are new episodes available to download.

That's all I can say sorry:)

Yup, TTG won't respond. I guessed we'd have seen it by now, especially since 2 weeks ago on their blog the mentioned they'd have more info regarding iOS at the end of that week. Supposedly that was a pipe dream.

Their (lack of) communications skills are renowned, so I wouldn't expect a response or an explanation.

I would also doubt we'll get ep4 at the same time as ep3. It'll likely be finished on other platforms before we see ep4.

I have to add my voice to the Greek Chorous. I am seriously P/Od that Telltale won't even tell us WHY Ep 3 isn't available on iPad. Is it a technical issue? A licensing issue? A problem with their partners? Just give us SOME information!

I just wish I had known that more episodes were available sooner on other platforms. I like having it on my IPad, but would much rather being able to play episodes 1-4 on my xbox right now instead of just 1 and 2...

I've thought about buying it again for the xbox, but I just can't justify paying twice the price for one game... I guess I have to be patient...
Still, it is frustrating.

I am disappointed too...I bought a bundle pack for WD as first time buyer of Tell Tale Games. If this is their model on how they release episodes in comparison to other devices, this is a bad model.

How can you release other episodes and give reviews on other devices where others lack behind?

TellTale Games you need to do something quick.

I'm am seriously pissed off at telltale. Its been 2 months and there is still no information whatsoever on episode 3 for iOS. I sent a message to telltale support about this issue and all I got was 'there is no finite release date for episode 3 on iOS.'

Walking dead is the best game i have ever played and I'm so hooked onto the story but it's like telltale are torturing iOS gamers. This game unique and amazing and i really want to know what happens to clementine (no spoilers Plz), but now I'm also starting to think episode 3 on iOS has been delayed. Episode 3 & 4 are already out for everything else but not ios.

PLZ CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME SORT OF INFORMATION ABOUT EPISODE 3 ON iOS! IS IT DELAYED AND WILL IT EVER COME OUT???:confused:

It will eventually come out, but it's not their main priority, as the consoles are. So you're just going to have to wait.

But I need your credit card number to facilitate your suggestion. My laptop doesn't meet the system requirements to run TWD, so you'll need to buy me a new laptop. Alternatively, I can send you my address and you can courier one to me.

If that's a bit much for you, I'll be happy with you just supplying your CC number to me so that I can add it to my US PSN or XBLA account and purchase it that way. Because it has been well documented that TTG never submitted TWD to my country's censorship body for classification.

Or if that's still a bit much, how about not coming up with posts like the above? There quite possibly may be very valid reasons for purchasing TWD on one platform, (in this case iOS) over another as I have just demonstrated with my own situation.

i could get you xbox Microsoft points codes but it might take atleast 4 weeks-5 weeks to get the points because i get 300 a week free if its okay with you

Playing games on your iPhone/iPad doesn't really mix well when they were originally meant for other consoles.

I mean, reading the reviews in the Appstore you find quite a few people saying "$5 an episode? What a f%$^%cking RIPOFF!"

I guess what bugs me most is that I've paid for the episodes up front but have no indication regarding a release date. Episode 3 won't be out until December? I don't really care but just tell me that. If December rolls around and it's not ready? That's fine, just let me know.

Having just a little bit of communication from Telltale would make me feel a bit better for plopping down the full amount and also make it a bit easier to spend more money on their products. As it stands right now, I'd rather not give them anymore money based on my current experience.

Hmm I'd say that's more a sign of the iOS users expectations on what a game is worth than anything else. Me being a console gamer find the price more than reasonable. However somebody used to paying $1.99 for apps rather than $100 for a game would have the opposite expectation.

The biggest complaint I see on the NZ App store is lag, and lack of episode 3. There doesn't seem to be too many complaints about the price.

I'm getting a little annoyed of having to wait so long for a release date or at least information.

We paid the same as others and feel like with aren't being treated with respect.

I'm thinking on asking for a partial refund.

Has anyone try getting one?

Finally this was my 1st TTG purchase I'll never buy another product from this company again.
Is funny that I read an interview were they said they want to be as big as EA or Valve...with the poor customer service/support I doubt it

I bought this game for my iPhone to be able to play during breaks or wherever I go.

I have no problems with the price.

I can't understand why is taking TTG so long to port a game to IOS.
Is just a port not a whole new episode

Like I said on another post this is my first and last TTG I purchase

I like the game, but we all deserve a little respect and better customer service

I feel the same way!

This is also my first TTG purchase and it will be the last.

A company the has no respect for customer will not get my business.

We deserve at the very least some information and not just being ignore.

I think the main problem might be iOS terms of service. I'm pretty sure they don't allow violent games as Walking Dead is, and since it has plenty of violent/bloody/gore stuff... I honestly think either they make a custom version for iOS removing many scenes, or I don't know how they can hope to sell the game there without risking a removal or rejection :confused:

I agree the price seems to be quite reasonable, you are right I waited a month until I downloaded the first episode due to the amount of people complaining about lag which I experience once in one cut scene for like one second nothing really, and a lot of people saying that they can't download episode 2 I admit I did have this problem until I read other people's reviews explaining how they downloaded without no problems. Then of course the episode 3 complaints, as an ios customer I thought episode 3 would be legendary and now it will probably become myth, twd episode 3 ios??? Wtf is twd episode 3 ? lol

i would like to do this too. I originally bought it to play on a trip. That is when I learned that the iOs verson was behind on episodes. only had ep1, then bought the pass just before ep 2 came out. yeah, now everyone is on 4 and we are forgotten. Uncool. I want a refund so at the very least, I can buy it on my xbox with out having to pay twice as much.

i sent a message to telltale support, asking them for some information on walking dead episode 3 on iOS. but when they replied all i got was 'there is no finite release date for walking dead episode 3 on iOS devices'.:mad: i am EXTREMELY desperate for episode 3 to come out on iOS but it doesnt look good. really ashamed at telltale and i expected better from such good game makers.

I totally agree with you bud, bttf, Sam and max among other good quality games. It's really hard to understand why they can't just give a release date like they have done with other platforms or at least speculate one. I unfortunately like others brought episode 1 thought the game was awesome played it in very single way to find the different endings, so I downloaded 2 played and completed that but if I knew back then what I know now, I would have either brought it on my ps3, x box or pc

I hear that a lot of people have started queuing up for refunds not sure how true this is?

Agreed, Telltale could solve a lot of PR problems if they would either announce a release date or explain why the delay is happening. We're not unreasonable, we just don't like being treated like mushrooms (i.e., kept in the dark and fed shit). They were going to make an announcement "VERY soon" -- well, VERY soon has come and gone.

The real problem is not the WAIT -- it's that it's getting harder and harder to keep spoiler-free as these episodes (and all the PR attached) roll out for other platforms. I already know more than I want to know going in to episode 3, and it's reaching the point where I feel like I can't even look at Telltale's website anymore to check on the availability because EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK there's spoilers now for TWO episodes ahead.

I know that people on other consoles see us as a bunch of whiners, but we paid our money just like you did, and we're not getting what we paid for while everybody else is.

I have not updated my Walking Dead iOS software because I'm afraid the update will wipe out all my previous game choices. I've had stuff like that happen before, and I'm not falling for that one again.

Yup it is. I really hope that TTG engages the customers for the next couple of episodes. It can be a simple message with a target month and then any applicable updates after that. Not crazy about the lack of communication so far.

Although I'm glad is out, TTG needs to work on their customer service.

We aren't unreasonable, we just hate being left in the dark.

Our complaints show how much we like and care for this game.

so it's out huh... in my app it still says Coming soon. maybe it is cause i am european ?? i don't feel like reinstalling again actually cause i will lose my save once again.

Now reboot the device and make sure you have a strong wifi connection. Log into your iTunes account and restart the application. You will see a momentary black screen as the game checks for the latest updates and then you will be taken to the Main menu.

If trying these steps a few times doesn't work, reinstalling the app from the iTunes store should resolve the issue. This will unfortunately remove your save games, so please try the above steps first.

Matt... why it always stop download at 57% ?
my wifi is strong but always lost connection at 57%.
can you make it Resumable download? so everyone can continue when it stopped.

FYI, I'm finding that the only way to get the game to realize a new episode is out is to shut down and reboot my iPad completely. Then when I open the game everything works as it should. Also, if you have more than one device, don't do what I did and try to use both at the same time to do different things. It will interfere with the download, I don't know why.

Finished episode three last night -- egad, what a ride! Some of my "choices" weren't actually choices at all, but just mistakes that I'm going to have to live with. That's what makes the game so uncomfortably lifelike. Wish that I hadn't known in advance some of this things that I knew because of the long delay, but it still had a heavy impact.

Now, what would be really extra specially nice would be if they could get episode four out for us BEFORE episode five is released, so that we can all be on the same page when the finale comes out... I can dream, can't I?

Ha, it just notified me today that episode 3 is out :P
