System is 2.0 Core Duo, 1GB RAM, 256 MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1600, XPSP2...

CSI: Hard Evidence installed fine, but upon launch, the game crashes. Any clues!!?

Any error messages? At what point does it crash? (I mean, do you see the CSI menu at all, or is it even before that?)

is it a horrid DLL error? if so try my fix in the other forum.. but Ill recap.
dont use the games stock shortcut.
Right click the shortcut on the desktop.. click FIND TARGET.. then it opens the game folder.. from here try running the csi4.exe file instead of the gameupdate.exe file. Most are having problems with A. firewalls or B. bink or C. illegal versions ...
