For those of you who have read up to the Prison Saga of the Comic book and is uptodate on the TV show which version do you prefer? Personally I can't really Decide. The TV show takes out a lot of the unnecessary drama that the Comic Book has (Like the whole Tyresse cheating on Carol Drama) but the TV Show doesn't even HAVE Tyresse who may I say is a Complete badass. As for Rick in the Comic Book I think they gave most of his traits to Shane on the TV Show. In the Comic Book he does what needs to be done but in the show he definitely has more of a humane way of thinking.

Both are great but I prefer the comics. Plus I only saw until Season 2 EP10

Comics of course...
They are original and it has better plot twists IMO...

I started watching the AMC show first, then went back and read the comics. As much as I enjoyed the first season of the TV show, I enjoyed the comics much more. Maybe its due to the greater amount of interactivity, but I am enjoying the game as much or more than the comic, and easily more than the TV show. I wish I hadn't seen the second season of the TV show.

I liked the comics but lost interest during the prison arc.

I prefer the show mostly because I burnt out on the comics. It got to the point where I just don't see the human race being at all viable past a certain point, way more deaths than birth and the majority of people I just don't want to survive. Lost interest.

Guest stars and actors in the show are expensive, so they tend to have longer lifespans and are better developed, so the show is preferable.

The game's still the best of the 3.

Comics, but Season 3 of the TV Show gives it a good run for its money.

Game > Comic > Show

Honestly, they are all great. Including the book "Rise of the Governor".
I stopped reading the comic after the prison arc though.
Right now I am more excited about the game and what will happen to Lee.

Game>Show>Comic.

The show is great fun. Even though my favorite character Dale died, a lot of great character development is shown. Got to love the soundtrack, too. Don't get me started on the comics. I gave up on them after issue 100. Kirkman takes our favorite characters and gets them killed. Which means that we can't establish relationships with any of the characters.

I enjoy the game as much as the comics. This it's the best compliment that Telltale would ever will receive.

Comics = videogame > TV show.

I like TWD show but... well, I didn't like so much the season 3 premiere. It's frantic.

Comics = Game > Show

I started with the show, and I like it and all, and Season 3 looks to be shaping up better than Season 2 thankfully, but something about the comics has me hooked more than the show ever could, and the game's interactivity makes me more immersed and a part of the world than the other two.

The comics started in 2003. That's a pretty long time to establish relationships with the core characters. Longer than most sitcoms for sure.

Wow, whoever told you that must have forgot to point out that TV is just as bad, if not worse, with your logic...

I too read issue 100, then stopped. Although I hate where the comic is headed and will probably never read another, the comic issues 1-100 are very good.

I think most of us like Lee better than Rick because we decide what he does and what kind of person he is, also because Clem and Lee is a way better Dynamic than Carl and Rick ever could be.

IDK, wish it was an option, but just pick Comic as the game takes place in the same continuity as it.
