I think we did this for 1-3 and I haven't seen a new thread yet. You know what to do, vote on the order on which you think were the best or worst episodes. Best on the left, worst on the right.

For me I thought 2 was the worst, but I did enjoy all of them all, I'm not sure why I didn't like 2 but I just found it weak in places.

Last time we had this poll my result went 1-3-2, I'm still going back on forth on whether Episode 1 or 3 was better. Episode 1 has the more difficult ethical choices but the gentler story, while Episode lacks the choices but is really the culmination of everything that's happened before. For the effectiveness of Ep 3, I have to promote it to the best episode. 3-1-2

That leaves a question of where Episode 4 fits in. I will readily admit I did not like episode 4, there are no difficult choices, Chuck is thrown away, Clem being taken was ruined by having her disappear earlier. The only moment I liked was Frank Anne and the idea behind Crawford.
So is it a better episode than 2? In some respects yes, Ep 2 was ridiculously cliched and Ep 4 was more grounded, despite the ninja. Ultimately though Ep 4 is almost entirely throwaway until the last 5 minutes and Ep 2 has the pivotal Meatlocker Massacre in it's favour. Ep 4 is going last

3-1-2-4

That's a lot of possibilites :D

By my maths, if I wanted to do this after Episode 5 I'd have to give 120 poll options instead of the 24 here. So yeah, that's not happening.

Not a lot of love for Ep 1 right now. Out of 18 votes, only 1 person has it down as their favourite and 9 people have it down as their least favourite.

Episode 3 is narrowly leading as a favourite, only 1 vote ahead of Ep 2.

3: Had such a emotional impact on me and was truly unforgettable. It did what walking dead does best, and practically destroyed my feels. :P
2: Not far from three with a great climax and epic moments like Andy's fight and the most difficult choices in the series like Larry's fate. My only issue is that the twist was slightly obvious.
1: Did a good job at setting the scene and introducing new characters and making us like them. A solid episode
4: Up until the end of the episode, it kind of felt like filler. Entertaining filler sure, but I don't think the impact was really big on the group. Pacing felt weird and I felt some of the emotion was forced abit too much. It got a lot better and relevant when Ben confessed and onwards though. Just didn't maintain that quality through the entire episode.

4, 3, 2, 1

They are all pretty close to me, but they just seem to keep getting better. I think both Episodes 4 and 2 seem to be filler since the group end up where they started, but they are both so great with a really interesting story that it doesn't really matter. I love all the episodes, but I think they keep on improving.

spoilers.

3 was by far the most emotionally harrowing for me. I couldn't bring myself to click the mouse to kill Duck for a long time, and that's pretty crazy that a video game could actually make me pause and think. It's the best for sure.

1 did an excellent job of setting the scene and introducing the characters. How many of you assumed Kenny would be the only one (besides Clem) left with you from the original pharmacy gang by ep 4? Awesome stuff. 2nd place.

4 was still amazing (they are all great, regardless of their place), but besides the very ending... what did it really do in terms of plot? Cool side story with Crawford, though.

2 was all side plot besides Larry's death for me. Mark was too new for me to care. The twist made it great (even though I figured they were cannibals from the moment I walked in the dairy), but it was a lot less intense than any of the other episodes for me. Still, all four episodes are fantastic.

I think I am the only person who had absolutely no idea that the St John's were cannibals. 2 was the best for me, because it kept me on my toes and kept leaving me all like ":O!".

For me, it is 2-3-4-1
I couldn't decide between 3 and 4, but 3 was the most emotional for me (Duck), so I'd have to place it as second. Episode 1 is by no means bad, but there have been improvements in each episode, which just leaves the first one behind.

Ha, I didn't either. Heck, I didn't even suspect there was something wrong (I couldn't open the barn door). I'm pretty naive :D. At least episode 2 served as a lesson, never trust strangers (or whatever seems too good to be true) on a Zombie Apocalypse, always expect the worst

But for me, the episodes have been improving as they come out.

So... 4-3-2-1

Really? I thought it was obvious they were cannibals. I was suspicious before going with Danny to the camp, and he pretty much confirmed it for me there. No offense intended of course! I'm just a pessimistic person, and assumed the worst of them when it seemed like they were probing us for information. I actually had no idea I was right until I saw Mark. Although it WAS pretty funny when I screamed "I was right!" as I ran down the stairs. If Mark hadn't been shot I probably wouldn't have thought of cannibalism...

But anywho, I feel the same way about the episodes. They just get better and better as they release, so I have to say 4-3-2-1 as well, even though they're all great.

Those are pretty much my reasons, too. Although I thought 1 and 4 were pretty close, because, unlike Mark, it's easy to like Molly immediately and she was a central part of episode 4 to me.

I'd have to say I am naive, and though I definitely doubted their true intentions, I had never considered cannibalism to be involved.
Though, at the time I played episode 2, I hadn't read enough of the comics yet to encounter cannibals. I may have seen it coming, otherwise.

Not to mention, Mark was great in the end! And horrifying.

Episode 3 definitely made me the saddest.

4-1-3-2.

4: Emotion and darkness made this episode the adventure it was.
1: We see how life itself changed every last man's life.
3: It takes us to an unsettling position throughout the adventure.
2: I liked the episode a lot. The others just beat it.

3- most compelling, really made me think
4- a lot of growth, some desions i felt made real impact
2- liked the growth of relationships, ultimately felt like a filler episode, Mark was just thrown in as a stock character
1- too early in the series, had little to no emotional impact, despite the people that died were supposed to be people that should mean the most to Lee

I thought episode 4 started out kind of weak, but also had some of the strongest moments in the game. Really short scene with zombies and Chuck is gone already. I thought that while the digging the dog up to get inside was really creative, and that moment of realization what you have to do was good, but it was essentially pointless to the plot. Same with the boy in the attic, I think they could have made the beginning more exciting but instead they went for almost pointlessly depressing (burying little boy with dog). Then you get an awesome part with Lee in the sewer, which they really should have made longer and more exciting. The puzzle was even easier than the train in ep. 3 IMO. Loved playing every minute of it, though!
