"Clementine will remember that" Spoilers

The ending scene, some of the stuff you say to her makes the game let you know that she will remember this. Like after she kills the walker, You tell her you can take care of yourself, and when you tell her to find Omid and Christa by the train..

The question is when is she going to remember that exactly now that the game is over?

I think it's safe to say that she will be in the second season, and we might actually import our save files into the next.

So what to you guys think?

They may use Clem as the protagonist in season 2, perhaps 10 years later when shes grown up. But to be honest I think its more of setting her off on her own, that THESE are the words she will remember for the rest of her life kinda thing.

There's no doubt that Clementine is gonna be in Season 2, just look at the cutscene after the credits.
But I don't think we're gonna have to play her as the main character. There's plenty of things to do, like the 2 shadows are actually kind people and we play on of them, trying to get Clem's trust in the first episode. We can also imagine that it's Omid and Christa (I'm sure they'll be in season 2. Maybe playing Christa? Playing a pregnant woman could be interesting.) etc...

Season 2 probably picks up right where season 1 ended, I really hope they don't have the dumb idea of making us play as a little girl. Lee was so much cooler to play as and I hope they have us play as another good character.

Not if you end up being one of those 2 people on the hill, or maybe those 2 try to hurt Clem and someone else who you are shows up and saves her.

To me, the "new world" thing is the best thing about zombie movies/games. I don't really care so much about when the characters are all settled in and adapted to the apocalypse and they have all these complex traps and built-out-of-trash contraptions so they can live in a camp without any real worries... I like when everyone is scared and don't know what to do.

I hope it picks up just where it left off. But it'd be pretty weird to have Clem as the protagonist... I don't know why but I'd just feel a bit stupid controlling a child in the game. Maybe it will be only for the first episode though... And then she's grown up.

But having anyone else as the protagonist who's with Clem and protects her would be pretty weird too. It's like you're Lee the second.

But like how Telltale have handled this so far I think it's fair to say we'll (most of us) will be very satisfied how it all plays out.

Yeah I hope she is now too because of the cliffhanger, but I really wish they just gave all the characters closure. Seeing Clementine living on a decent farm in the countryside with Christa and Omid.

On a less underground note, I think that Clem's knowledge now will effect certain events in Season 2 where she will play sort of the same role. It would be pretty intresting to see a character shaped soley on how they were treated by the last person you played.

I think we will get an entirely new person for season 2 as we already know and like/dislike Omid and Christa BUT Clem may well make a appearance in season 2 alive or dead depending on our choices and advice.

Kinda OT but what I think would be cool is for ep 1 we find Omid and Christa and follow her trail, The end of the ep shows her either alive or dead. Just an idea. :D

Well, I'd say she will be in Season2, but I don't want to play her and I don't want to play someone else taking care of her, since it would be odd, personally knowing all her history but the character I'm playing not.

Also, after what she has been through, she is not the helpless little girl. Someone who has or has not shot her guardian in the face is not videogame princess to be rescued anymore.
