Black screen

Why am I getting a black screen I played episode 1 and tried to buy episode 2 but it kicked me to my main iPad screen now when I click on the app it just says walking dead in white then my screen goes black then back to my main iPad screen I paid $5 for this app wth help me????

Please try completely shutting down your device, wait a few minutes, and then restart. Also shut down any other applications that are running in the background that you are not using. If this does not resolve the problem, you may need to uninstall the game application and then redownload the base game from the App store and reinstall the DLC episodes.
