Walking Dead - Season 2
We all know it's comin'. However, whether it continues Clem's story or not is a mystery. However, it if does how can we expect her to feel attached to a new group of survivors. If she doesn't on the other hand, how will the game act out and what will it be like not having an adorable lil' Clem by your side. The main aim of the game is to survive, but to also look over this little girl throughout the experience and protect her no matter what the cost.
What would TWD be without Clementine by your side? Do you think it would be just as enjoyable?

It would be a pretty big middle finger if Clementine's appearance in season 2 was nothing more than a cameo.

She deserves at least 3 episodes where she is one of the main characters.

Sometime next year, Telltale releases the first teaser image for The Walking Dead: The Game Season 2, and Clementine’s nowhere to be seen. The Internet freaks out. However, here’s how the game will go: we start as a new character, we meet the new group, and we cope as things go horribly wrong. Walkers tip over the walls and eat everyone but us and a friend; we’re forced to flee. In the final moments of the episode, we’re lamenting our luck as we cross a sun-covered hill, and then – bam – we see a little girl off in the distance. Credits roll.

That's actually a very good idea Greg. Well suggested

Shouldn't this be in the season 2 speculation thread?
-Anyways, I doubt that TT is going to leave the character of Clementine. I just hope that she gets the same role that she did in season 1. I'd still like her to influence my moral decisions.

Yea I don't know if they could introduce another kid with the same moral compass role as Clem. Unless the end goal of that new character was for him/her to be a friend for Clem, then it might work.

I think that Omid, Christa, and Clementine will be a family in the game kind of like Kenny, Katjaa, and Duck. But I think you will be somebody else, that is not part of that family.

I'd be extremely saddened if she doesn't show up. I'd also be extremely saddened if she perishes. I know it's The Walking Dead but there has to be a limit to how cruel it can be, Clementine is living proof of who Lee was and I don't want his existence to just... disappear.

I'd like to amend that I was only kidding above - I'd prefer Clem not go out like a Star Trek extra..... that post was more inspired by all the "emo-season 2 is dead without Clem"ing.
I hope they bring her back at some point, but not as a main focus, as that would take away from Season One/Lee as much as just offing her.

Well, considering what they said in this article:
http://www.shacknews.com/article/77259/the-walking-dead-took-cues-from-uncharted-heavy-rain
We'll definitely see her or Christa/Omid or else there would be no reason to talk about importing the save from season 1 to season 2.

Yeah, because clearly those are the only possible things that could be influenced.

I hope she'll be there. Maybe not in the #2 position like season one, but still an important character. Having Clem not carry over seems like a big stick in the eye to everything that happened. Yes, Omid and Christa could be there, but in the timeline of the game they were present for only two or three days, not months like the rest of the characters. They don't matter nearly as much as Clem, or Kenny if he somehow survived, however unlikely that may be.

I feel he survived, his "death scene" was too anticlimactic and senseless to be absolute. Plus, no screams of pain and no corpse in the alley (don't know about the dark building).

While i agree on the second part, it would make sense for someone to have an anticlimactic death. It fits the theme of the universe, as not everyone gets the privilege of going out rambo-style.

Maybe it wasn't Rambo-style, but it was still courageous. Well, if it's Christa he's saving. Pretty pointless if it's Ben.

I don't know if i'd keep playing when finding out she is not in the game... i mean she was the only thing that kept me going (besides the story) after every fucked up incident, and we all know there were many, talking to her calmed me down, but without her i dunno,... what's the point? i allmost always did what she wanted, i didn't kill certain people in episode 2, because she was nearby, god knows i would've enjoyed it SO MUCH! another awful thought is that she, omid and christa will be a "family" but i wont be part of it as bananapatcher said, that might be an option an i dunno... it would break my heart i guess... -and it would mean omid and christa would eventually die, so the player takes care of her again-... anyways i just hope ttg still knows what they're doing, and i hope S2 will not be more depressing than S1 was...

According to the walking dead wiki Kenny is dead. It doesn't say his status is unknown like Christa and Omid whose pictures have a blue colour code to show that their status is not confirmed. Everyone that has died in the history of the walking dead comics,tv show and game are on that database and it states that Kenny was eaten by zombies. I have never seen a mistake on that database about the status of walking dead characters so I think the information they put on it is from a reliable source. Even Chad and the cop that takes Lee to the farm in episode 1 if you leave Clem's house at night is not confirmed as being dead but Kenny,Katjaa,Larry,Ben,Carly and Doug have red colour coded tags for their profiles showing them as being dead.

Season 2 will have Clementine. remember at the end you get a bunch of stuff saying "Clementine will remember"? Your choices will carry over and Clementine will be following your advice. I assume she will be grown up or in her teens.

It wouldn't be the same. The relationship between Lee and Clem is where the game shined the most. I really hope they have incredibly strong relationships in season 2 as well.

I wouldn't say it's pointless... Kenny forgives Ben with that scene and is finally "strong" as he wants to be.
I actually like that scene better than the scenario with Christa.

There were a lot of times that the game said "so and so will remember." like with lee defending Carly when Lilly accuses her. She remembers for all of about 5 minutes before Lilly shoots her.

One of the figures in the distance is relatively obese; I don't think he would be the one escaping walkers if push came to shove, unfortunately.
I have a feeling that the figures looming in the distance are menacing.

I can see it beginning this way. But I also have a few other thoughts in mind.
Kenny, he is not confirmed dead, we all assume he is, but we never hear him scream or yell like he is being torn apart by walkers. So imagine the game starts with him(you) fighting your way through the alley of zombies and escaping the herd. You then continue to try to track down Clem and Lee, but show up too late at the marsh house when they are already gone. You end up finding Lee as a zombie/dead (depending on decisions) and eventually catch back up with Clem and save her from the two sadistic men who found her in the hills.
There is always the possibility of being Clem. Or Omid. I personally however do not know how they will replace someone as awesome and loved as Lee. And the relationship between him and Clem. Clem is a must for the game tho.

Yeah but still. You really think the game would say that, they tell you season 2 will carry over your choices, and they don't have Clem at all in season 2. I'd say it's pretty much confirmed that she will be in it.

I think we might play as someone from Vernon's group. The boat plan goes south for them for some reason and two of them escape, join up with Clem in the field and later are joined by Christa and Omid.

Their necks would be strangled before they could even breathe the same air as Clem.
"You stole our only hope for survival in this town and left us all to die, but no probs. :)" Hogwash.
It's an interesting idea though, and Christa would probably forgive them(and Omid would side with her no matter what) so i could see it working. I'd be seething with rage for every second of their screen time. :p

If it was true, I think that they would give us the option to either oppose the idea (-> one other person in Vernon's group would agree with Player Character and would leave together -> get to the outskirts and meet Clementine) or go along with it (-> the plan goes south -> fight out of the city with only PC and another survivor and meet Clementine).

Awesome.
Why awesome? Clem was the light in a dark world. Without her it would just be dark all the time. Clem showed lee that he can get a second chance, gave him hope. And in a world like that, hope is just as powerful as any gun.

I bet Christa would strangle at least ONE of them. Remember, she defends them BEFORE everything goes haywire. Since Kenny saved her in my EP5, and she seemed really guilty after Kenny got overtaken, I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to focus her guilt on someone else by blaming his death on Vernon for taking the boat. Even though I blame her for being completely stupid and jumping down there without so much as...oh, say... a PLAN. Ben 2.0 right there, she finished off Kenny after Ben only managed to kill Kat and Duck.

Probably. It just seems like she's sympathetic to them after they realize they stole the boat("They're just people trying to survive just like us") and didn't really come off as angry. Though that's possibly because she never trusted the boat plan to begin with.
