Question about 360 DLC version/disc

I bought my son a 360 for christmas and for me I got the disc version of TT twd game hoping to actually play it with the graphics it was meant to have (I play it on pc with graphics wayyy down;) to avoid skipping/lag issues.) and the graphics are beautiful. I didn't even really notice a problem until I was about to unlock my handcuff and be free when suddenly it froze...for about 4 mins only to then tell me I had been eaten by the ressurected cop/ You have died. It seems like the problems are with the graphics but unlike the pc version no way to turn them down:(. I look online...oh this has happened to many people, return and be done. But I still want to have it on my 360....thus my problem

I do not have wireless internet...my usb plug in from sprint will not allow me to go online from game systems. If I could download the game while at a friends would the game (once fully downloaded) be able to be played while not online? Any help is as always very much appreciated:)

You should. The game's only online feature is stat tracking so it should be fine. Just be sure to start it once after you finish downloading it while still online. Sometimes there's an update that needs to be downloaded after you install it.

EDIT: And make sure you buy all the "downloadable content" which is the other episodes before you leave your friends house.

Ok thanks. I don't want internet for my xbox 360 I just wanted to have the game so it's good to know it can be played offline. Will be sure to check for any update as well. Sure would have made life way easier if the disc had just worked. It was a sad christmas day for twd with lag and death:p
