Wouldn't it be brilliant if ALL the same characters from the game were in a Walking Dead film? I could follow the same sort of story as the game, ( Lee kills senator, police car, clementine) blah blah blahdiddy blah blah blah. If I directed it I would change it massivley, maybe meet Christa and Omid at the Motel? And meet Lilly and Larry at the bridge? Or have Carley and Doug survive the drug store and even survive until the end?

I'd bloody love it; you'd bloody love it, we'd all bloody love it. Make TWD a film!

People would go to a Walking Dead movie for the TV show.

The video game was so special because it was YOUR story. That's the whole reason I don't think Heavy Rain or Mass Effect would make a good film.

TWD as a movie would be brilliant. :) I tried recording and editing TWD in a form of a movie, with choices players chose most, but its very hard without extracted sounds/voices etc. :-)

I'm all for a movie, as long as it has completely different cast than the game or show.

People are right with the "it's YOUR story so a movie wouldn't make sense thing", but they could take the choices that were chosen more. Like shooting the girl or taking Lilly with you in the RV, those were chosen higher than not shooting the girl and leaving Lilly... even though I did both. :3

TWD game just wouldn't translate well into a movie, i think. The way it progresses is something a film can't reproduce. A film in the Walking Dead universe could be good, but based on this game and it's characters and plot, it just wouldn't work as well as the game, IMO.

The reason the game is so awesome is because the video game format is a lot easier for players to be emotionally immersed in the story. I am not sure if I would have the same reactions if I watched a movie based on the game, since it's not interactive and I'm not doing things the way I think I would.

The good thing about video games it is a good way to tell long stories
No movie can be 20 hours long whilst that is a short time for a game
Adding together all the episodes we would be talking roughly 2 movie lengths per episode...

The walking dead game cannot be a movie as it would be too long and everyone would argue over the choices

There is no canon choice and as a Doug fan I'd want Doug to be saved etc

You find me a child who can properly convey Clementine, and I'll think about getting excited. Chances of that happening are low.
