Now I know what you're thinking. "Give it a chance", you say. "You know we weren't going to get the original actors." I know all that. I actually think that the voices (I'm going from the trailer) aren't that bad. Sam pretty much sounds like sam, except maybe a little older. My problem is with Max. There's no edge. His voice sounds ok, but Max is crazy and spunky and the voice actor plays him very mellow. When they're having these guys audition, they need the game, cartoon and steve sitting there (maybe they did)...
my thoughts are that:
Sam = decent, could be better. sounds like Dan Rather...
Max = not horrible, but not good. He needs more edge and excitement in his voice. A sense of insanity under a layer of cuteness.
