I'm also stuck at J.J.'s hand.

Yet, I have a clue :
According to Sam, the inkwritter ribbon would be the perfect way to neutralize the hand, however it cannot be used in its original shape.

Edit : sorry, I just found the solution and it is absolutely not what I was saying in spoiler banner

stuck on finding flint:confused: and the sec. poem, i think i got 3 of the 4 words (abyss, razors,pain) the forth i need a clue. i did not get j.j. hand yet

you can only read half of the last word, but... you already know what words the DJ table can say, so you should be able to figure out what the last word is...

The last one says something like "...rents".
Is there a word looking like that on the DJ thingamabob?

I'm stumped on getting the hand.

Max says something about the tar cake, but I don't know what to do with it, or how to get it.

I don't exactly know about the order of the words right now, but I think it is right. The Typewriter ribbon on the other hand is completly useless.

Actually, you will find the right words to the book case later in the game (there's a picture you'll have to look at which reveals them)
I didn't try to use the right words on the DJ before it's really necessary, but I bet that they aren't accepted until you go ahead in the game.
