Direct3d question/fix

I had previously had the Direct3d error where it wouldn't load the game (episode 3). I fixed this by installing the new drivers- but it does leave me wondering: what changed between episode 2 and 3?

My ATI Xpress200 integrated card had no problems with Season 1 or Season 2 ep1 & 2, but without updating the drivers it wouldn't work with ep 3.

I had the same problem, which was odd since it worked for me yesterday when I first installed ep 3, but today it didn't work and told me to update my ati driver. Thanks for the post since I tried updating my driver by dling catalyst, but that didn't work. Guess I have to look for a specific driver for my radeon. I thought I was the only one who had this problem

You know, I honestly can't think of any reason off the top of my head. Something could have changed your individual settings, but it seems a bit odd that it would affect both of you. Good to hear that it was a quick fix though.
