i know i have it...i did the diagnostic test for my direct x...so how come all i get is a blank screen or in some cases...a message saying it couldnt connext to my direct 3d?

Try redownloading Direct X 9.0c from www.microsoft.com ... or reinstalling if you have it with a game etc
