Help Me Stuck Hard Evidence Case 1

I am really stuck of csi hard evidence case 1, I have done everything without using hints and I am now very stuck on the miniature golf course, I have read many walkthroughs about stairs and entering the windmill, but nothing I do will let me see any stairs or allow me into the windwill, I have played all the cis games before, and never had a problem like this before.
So if anyone can help me Plz before I go insane I would be very very grateful, many thanks:eek:
