Season 1 resolution

I've downloaded the demo for episode 1, and have found by searching that season 1 only supports 4:3 resolutions.

However, it only goes up to 1600x1200. A 1600x1200 window is a bit small on my monitor, and a long-standing bug in nVidia's drivers prevent me from running fullscreen with the correct aspect ratio.

Why no 1920x1440 or 2048x1536?

Season 1's got an array of not-so-very-impressive resolutions, and I guess you'd have to cope with those. I'm sure you can run the game in 1024x768 full screen, even though you have the biggest monitor known to man.

Surely 30" monitors aren't all that uncommon these days. Apple Cinema, Dell 3007/3008, Samsung 305T, and HP LP3065 (the one I have). Their native resolution is 2560x1600.

Doesn't anyone have any information on how the game might be tricked into a higher resolution? The aspect ratio wouldn't change, so unless everything is hardcoded for the resolutions it explicitly supports (which I would classify as an undesign decision, if true), it should be possible.
