Is it possible to trick the game into using 1920x1440 or 2048x1536 resolutions?

Nope. All of Season One is programmed to run at only 4:3 resolutions, specifically 800x600 or 1024x768.

You're kidding, right? You mean to tell me I refrained from installing S1 onto my 1680x1050 monitor just for that?

EDIT: Oh, I forgot that those are very tall regular monitors. Though, oddly enough, my 1280x960 laptop monitor doesn't go that high... only 1024x768...

Nope. All of Season One is programmed to run at only 4:3 resolutions, specifically 800x600 or 1024x768.
1920x1440 and 2048x1536 are standard 4:3 resolutions.

... but they aren't supported. Season One stops at 1600x1200.
