Problem with Episode 1 Season 1

I have bought Sam and Max in the stores here in the Netherlands.
All the episodes are playable, only ep. 1 Culture Shock.
When I load a savegame it says: Loading is disabled in TRIAL MODE.

I have used the trial game from Culture Shock and I deleted it before installing the Season One DVD.

How can I save/load my game for Ep. 1 Culture Shock.
The other episodes are working correctly.

Have you tried deleting the new version and reinstalling it? Also, what language are you playing the game in?
