CSI PC game stops and shuts down

It starts out OK, but after the game starts and I see Grissom at his desk and he starts to talk to me, He stops talking first, then the game just closes down.

I have Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 video card
Pentium 4
Xp,
plenty 2 G ram (working memory)

I leave disk one in to play. I have uninstalled and restalled but don't know why it keeps happening. Thank you for you help.

Sorry you're having trouble. Which CSI game is this?

The first thing to try would be to update your video drivers. You can find the most recent drivers on Nvidia's website.

I have just gotten a new video card, I wrote what it is. It is the first game just called CSI Crime Scene investigation. Thank you.

I'm sorry to say that we didn't make the first two CSI games. We only did '# Dimensions of Murder' and 'Hard Evidence'.

As a general suggestion, I would try what Emily suggested. You can get updated drivers for your video card at http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_169.21_whql.html

You might also try updating DirectX. You can get the latest here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en
