Ya know what would be awesome? If they had a treasure hunt mini-game that is completely irrelevant to the storyline, but helps you find the extra items that you need for the oh-so-satisfying Snake Boxer 5 cheats and 100% completion. I can see it now, SB walking around with the Taranchula Metal Detect-OR in Strong Badia, laying down little flags until he finds the shovel. It's as though I saw it in a low quality video in the background of an interview, with intermittent close-ups that increase the quality of the video.Because I did.

The boss does have lots of water tentacles, but the "tiny nucleus" you described is the brains of the operation. True, it is fairly small, but amoebas are like super, ultra tiny to begin with, so it still qualifies as being giant.

Yo! Telltale! I gots a question. I heard in some gamespot interview that there will be minigames and microgames. Will any of either have stuff that uses the Wiimotes accelarometers and such? Like in Wii Sports?

Lasat episode: In episode four as a side story, The Cheat's character on Cheat Commandos becomes the breakout star of the show. In the middle Crack Stuntman dies from the confusion of the exsictence of his underwater fire place (or something funnier). Chimendez decides to cast him as Gunhaver. The Cheats climbs up the ladder of voice acting until he's the king of the biz! At the end of the episode he gets paid fortunes! So what does he do? He lets Strong Bad use it all to purchase Telltale if he gives The Cheat his own game. To be continued in the last episode of the season. Episode 5: Strong Bad enjoys his position at Telltale as owner. The staff brings him the finished product. And he is displeased. (This is Point-and-Click-em-up?) Naturally he fires them all. Then he finds there is no one else to hire, except the inhabitants of Free Country USA! So everyone from the HomestarRunnerverse creates their own game. You have the point and click parts when Strongbad runs around on missions, checks out the development process and plays the games. But new gameplay for each game each character works on! In the end Strong bad deems only his two games (guess what they are) and The Cheat's good. He decides to accept a offer for a small amount of money from Videlectrix. The End?

Fixed.
He constantly lies to them and insults them, watch the SBEmail "prom night" and you will see what I mean. He also makes them do everything he can't or doesn't want to, and he doesn't even hang out with SM like he does The Cheat (except on Halloween night and a few other occasions). I'd say they have a lot to be mad about.

I can't believe no one suggested this, but lazers. Obviously, a Strong Bad game needs lots and lots of lazers. Or maybe a madlib. Seriously though, I think some of the theme ideas aren't so bad, like a Dangeresque episode, or a 20X6 one, since many emails are built around themes themselves. Like Dangeresque was itself an amalgam of 70's action shows and movies, and 20X6 is spoofing anime. Game episodes based around these ideas would be great, just because we could see Telltale's take on these genres. And if there is a Halloween episode, they have to dress the Cheat in a Max costume. Like, I swear, it's written in the California Civil Code or something.

...didn't IGN preview about the second episode being about the King of Town's email tax? And didn't they also say that the third episode would be about metal music? At the time it might have seemed like speculation, but this seems to comfirm it. The "more info" page also seems to hint at another episode plot about a video game conspiracy.... could that be real too?

I got the wii version of strongbad yesterday. I was using the Lappy to type a message to some of my friends, and you had to point and click the letters on the virtual keyboard you gave us.....

Here's the problem

THE WII SUPPORTS USB KEYBOARD FUNCTIONALITY!

I can go and do Wii messages with my USB keyboard (with the USB ports in the back) but i can't use my USB keyboard functionality with the lappy? cmon man takes hardwork to use the wii remote with an on screen keyboard.

if you can make an update for the lappy to use USB keyboard functionality that would be excellent. if you can't oh well, but please make sure you have it in for the next episode.

If you don't have it in there because you think it brings authenticity to the lappy, ewll than that just seems a bit odd. strongbad don't hunt and peck man, HE ACTUALLY TYPES likes he's typing on a keyboard, not hunt and peck.

basically go to the stick and the cheat will be there.

homestar will be there to propose a kick the cheat long distance contest, you must face homestar in kicking the cheat farther than him starting from the stick.

once you start, there will be a windsock flag bub's stand. and on the right side of the screen there will be a power meter and direction meter.

you basically getting a running start to the cheat (which he's next to the stick) and football kick the cheat as hard as you can and there will be a distance meter along with some distance markers (standing next to free county USA landmarks, like the cool car, photo booth, strongbadia, marzipan's house, strong bad's house etc.)

when the cheat is in the air he should be twirling and screaming.

there should be some type of super kick where it makes a noise when you kick the cheat and he turns all sparkly or on fire! of course this should happen if you do it correctly.

Actually, I think they'll probably pull something other than the villain twist on us in the H*R series. Something more H*R-appropriate, and less predictable.

It's hard to say what Homestar should be, in terms of a long story. Are we just going to get a bunch of self-contained stories for the season, or will we get a big surprise at the end that ties everything together?

It's going to be interesting to see how Telltale deals with making a narrative for something that has never been expressed in anything but 5 minute shorts.

episode 104: Homestar's super adventure game for grandma's and Ducks: It's Homestar's time to shine when he forgets Marzipan's Birthday. now he has to find her a present, get Bubs back on track when he's closed down by the health department, and win the quadri-annual blindfold boxing tournament, all in one afternoon. also at the end, Strong Bad returns from his "vacation" to find that the Lappy's been stolen!!!!!!

One thing I'd like:

The puzzle in the King of Town's castle is a GREAT puzzle, and I really enjoyed figuring it out. But to figure it out, you're probably going to fail at least 3-4 times. In my case, I took about 15 times before I had the whole routine figured out.

If you're going to fail a mission a lot, and it's going to end in an animation like that, it would be nice to have more variation in the "You failed" animations and dialogue. I saw that there were some variations (heehee, drain bamage), but 3-4 more lines of dialogue or a couple alternate animations would go a long way to making puzzles like that feel less tedious.

Maybe some people don't care, or maybe this problem was already addressed. It bugs the crap outta me and makes me turn off the game every time, and I probably won't play past the demo if this isn't fixed by the next episode.

when talking to people, sometimes clicking a certain icon multiple times will give u different bits of conversation. other times, you end up hearing the same thing that was just said. not too bad for short snippits of conversation, but some of these segments are long and drawn out, with flashback scenes and everything...gets pretty annoying to have to sit through it twice.

i propose the following fixes: 1) Being able to skip the conversation segment once it started by clicking the mouse or something! or 2) The icon changes colors or goes black and white or something if there's nothing "new" to be said on the subject.

Other than that the game is great, but i don't have the time to play it and get anywhere until this problem is fixed.

I will feel so ripped off if they devote an entire episode to that old timey theme. I will feel so ripped off if they devote an entire episode to that old timey theme. Its sooo annoying, but strong bad could get lost and have to travel through his own creations like that show sliders. Then they could do 20X6, the old timey stuff, strong badman and that eh steve place and not stick people with one theme that they don't like. Personally I would like to see an invasion of Fhqwhgads!

Trogdor needs to make an actual appearance, since SB really wouldnt be here without him. Maybe Free county USA could be terrorized by the S is for Sucks Dragon and you have to find and save/recruit trogdor to come save free county USA?

One episode should involve a major heist. Stealing from the KOT was fun!

I wonder if they could make a battle of the bands thing with SB vs Coach Z and maybe the Cheat?
I loved the old timey cartoons but I agree that a whole three hours would be jarring. I'd love a time travel episode where you could do some Ocarina of Time events between old timey and real.

The key word is "characterized". Fhqwhgads is actually just a normal (maybe?) person who emailed Strong Bad and signed an unreadable name. Unless TBC had kept fhqwhgads email address, asked for a pictre of them, and posted the picture either in a toon or anywhere else, we probably won't figure out who it is.

Maybe the Season Finale would have Interdimensional Travel, and it would really give you a new way to intensify Strong Bad's style. Like going to the Old-Timey World, to help Old-Timey Strong Bad with his greatest Caper ever to improve his Old-Timey Style, or 20X6, to help Stinkoman get the challenge he's deserved.

I've looked at the various suggestions of alternate universes and styles. I agree that the 20X6 and the 1936 styles would be fabulous and highly fun to play in. Personally, I'd like to see it taken even further. How about navigating your way through a section as puppet Strong Bad, or perhaps getting trapped in a place animated in the style of Powered By The Cheat. I know you guys at TellTale can do this stuff after all the awesome stuff I've enjoyed in the Sam and Max games. The possibilities with Strong Bad are endless.
