I really want to get into the series because it sounds like boat loads of fun, but I also am really interested in getting all the extra features that come with the Season 1 bonus disk.

So I was wondering if I buy Season 1 off amazon for $18, will I get all the same content that comes on the bonus disk on the Telltale store?

No. The retail disc doesn't have the commentaries or the blooper reel. It does have a short making of video, though.
