Yep.I prefer Pikmin and XBOX 360's Overlord.
P.S.There pretty much the same, use your loyal team mates (that you can control) through areas to complete the random objective.

I made the mistake of buying Blue Mystery Dungeon for the DS. So not nearly as good as the original game.

I played one of them. I ended up as a Piplup. Which was okay, I suppose, because me and my bro have the most hilarious injoke about Piplup, but the game wasn't good enough for me to bother getting through the first dungeon, and my teammate, Pikachu, kept wandering off and being a doofus.

Also, the game telling me I'd turned into a Piplup, and all the Pokemon speaking English creeped me out too much.
