:confused:I'm kinda in a dilema on what to do now. I'm thinking about getting the sam & Max Season 2 disc, but I kinda want to save for Strong Bad. Any suggestions? BTW I have 1600 Wii Points on my Console at the moment.

If you have 1600 Wii points, that will buy you the first(and maybe second, depending on how they price it) SBCG4AP episode.

You've played Sam and Max Season 1, yes?

I think that Season 2 outdoes Season 1 by a long shot. I'd suggest playing it at SOME POINT, if not right away.

I've played Abe Lincoln must die, and Ice Station Santa. I'm really just gonna wait until the price for SB is announced. That, and see if SB is really as good as Sam & Max. But knowing Telltale, it probably will be.;)

Oh, in that case:

You REALLY should play through Season 1 before Season 2, anyway. There is actually a story and such, and I'm sure you'll enjoy Season 2 far more when the many references to the first season show up.

Well, I've kinda read wikipedia articles on some of the episodes, so I know that Hugh Bliss was the mastermind of about all of the hypnotism related things in the season.

OMFG MAJOR SPOILERZ DUDE!
Just kidding, I think we're safe with that now. Perhaps.

Even though you know the plot, you should still play through all of season one. It's all about the experience. :)

That's not referenced quite as much as a lot of minor things...

Anyway.

Do what you want, I suppose.

Well if you already have points then it makes no sense to debate it... you can't buy S&M with wii points. You've pretty much already bought SBCG4AP.

I've still got an Ice Station Santa code or two that I'm giving away...if you want to demo the game before buying it, then feel free to PM me. (Or anyone else, for that matter. First come, first serve.)

I would say if you are thinking about getting S&M, start with Season 1. As Rather Dashing rather dashingly pointed out, there are many small references that are only hilarious and meaningful if you played the full first season. If you don't want to buy Season 1 yet, then hold up for Strongbad.

Although I think you should buy S&M (only $18 at amazon, woohoo http://www.amazon.com/DreamCatcher-PCO55250MB-Sam-Max/dp/B000OZHDWO/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1217389596&sr=8-3) with money, and buy the StrongBad game with those Wii Points you have been saving... who knows, in a couple months you may have robbed enough banks to get more Wii Points!

Uh, that's actually how I got Ice Station Santa. I used the Gift code like, 2 weeks ago. And Derwin, thanks for the tip. I might do that once the SBCG4AP Price is announced. If I can get 2 episodes without having to deposit more Wii Points, then I'm gonna get it.
