Holes (with spoilers and a plea for more)

Obvious: using the shovel to dig-up loose dirt.
Less obvious: pouring steroids down the hole closest to the front door.
Obvious but complex: trapping the KOT in the front-yard hole using a combination of hedge clippings, candy, and...what? How do I trap the KOT?

I threw down chocolate. That's pretty much all I could get SB to do. It seems like a pointless hole.
