In a moment of wistful nostalgia, I bought the newest installment in the Pokemon franchise for the Nintendo DS.

This new version allows for online battles, I can now challenge people over the internet. Anybody play here?

I loved the Pokemon trading card game when I was about 6-9 years old, but I never liked the Pokemon games too much.I felt the battles got extremely repetitive.But I practically lived for the moment when I launched an attack that was "super affective"(I loved how they included that in SSBB.)!!!For me, the Pokemon games were defenitely a wonderful introduction to the RPG genre, but I just never got to liking the games.

On another note, I remember really enjoying playing Pokemon Stadium on the N64 when my cousins used to rent it(never owned an N64, just a PS1).

red, blue, and yellow, the oldest games were fun... at their time. after playing updated versions, it was...difficult to stay in those games.

Yeah, I agree. The new ones can get boring pretty fast. I don't think I ever completely finished ruby version.
