Third annual Halloween contest now concluded! [Archive]

...I'm not telling what mine is, but I'm guessing a lot of people will do the same thing as me.
Okay, I did Torture-Me-Elmer.

Hint: 1 envolves robots.
DROPPED ANVILL: My other one will consist of me making a pumpkin white, and drawing Max's face. He'll have a gun with him, though...

I'll post previews of my project here. There all YouTube videos. In fact, one of the projects are being a movie...

P.S: The robots DOSEN'T involve the Maimatron. However, a H*R character(s) is involved in robot-a-tuide.

UPDATE! I'm working on the robots movie! My other entrys (yes, I made an extra one for luck) are going to be made, first up with Carol's Halloween Costume. The Max Pumpkin is on hold. For now.

Those who want to here it, here it is:
Twas the night before the Thnikkaman:

Twas the night before the Thnikkaman, was everyone's heart so bright,
Strong Bad was checking e-mail freakin' late at night.
Dear Strong Bad it quoted, said Strong Bad with a smile,
Why not why not cause chaos? It will be with your while.
Dan from NY, NY, "Awesome!" said Strong Bad.
He called out Teh C. and (you know him, you enjoy him) Strong Mad.
Strong Bad with smug said: The Cheat, go and kidnap Marzipan for me to marry her.
Mreh meh meh! Said The Cheat, meaning he said: ne'er.
Strong Bad told the Cheat, "C'mon man, it'll be awesome!"
The Cheat went off and saw Marzipan, with a possum.
Strong Bad told Strong Mad "Brotha, beat the Thnikkaman down.

Then we'll take him down, and beat him, call him a nub.

Hmrrmm crappy crap...

Due to school activities I couldn't find the time to make anything... oh well...

My first idea was to make a little animated short (I'm an animation student) but that idea was discarded early on.
I did however, made a little storyboard along with a few concept pieces and the very first shot! YEAH!

A.Give something to all who participated
B.Open 5 slots instead of tooty-two three.

I don't think there is a confirmation email. I finished it last minute, and I sent it two ways the night before the deadline. I hope thunderbird didn't screw it up!

It's Halloween and Sam and Max are watching Nosferatu. Max is loving it but Sam as somewhat on edge, a sensation which is not eased by the doorbell ringing at a tense moment in the film.

Sam opens the door to find three trick-or-treaters in adorable Telltale themed costumes and darts off to look for some treats in the closet. One of the trick-or-treaters is in dire need of sanitary relief and Max recognises him as none other that Whizzer! Seeing the diabolical evil in his crazed eyes, Max pulls his gun on the fiend!

Sam, meanwhile, is still busy searching for treats. After finding a lollypop he turns from rummaging only to the three trick-or-treaters suddenly transform into three ethereal Soda Poppers that start flying around the room!

Understandably Sam and Max are caught slightly off guard by this turn of events. Even more understandably Sam decides to hide under a table and hope that the situation will all somehow sort itself out. Max, realising then that their fate lies in his hands alone, comes up with a cunning scheme. He leans over to Sam and shares his brilliant plan to save the day.

Time passes

Sam and Max return dressed in a way that evokes the Ghost Busters whilst remaining different enough to avoid copyright lawsuits. Without crossing the beams, Sam and Max carefully trap the nefarious trio in some kind of trap-like ghost trapping device. The victorious pair return to their film and slowly drift off to sleep after a case well done, leaving one more trophy in the closet next to Lenard.

Those are for the backgrounds. Some backgrounds can be used more than once so numbering them is part of the planning :)

EDIT: Whoops, I didn't notice that you'll e-mail us untill this weekend. So, a better question is, what do the people get (more specific details) who entered but didn't get a mention or grand prize?
We get a free downloadable game. I don't know if that means free NotRD, or any game, but I hope it's the second one. If it is, then if there's another similar promotion, I'll get all of S&M Season 2 for $8.95!

Us too! The entries were noticeably skewed to Sam & Max, but I guess that makes sense since the Sam & Max fans have been at this for three years now. :D Hey Homestar fans - you have twelve months to get cracking on next year's entry!

As corny as it sounds, the best prize I got today is when I visited Target, the mall, and my friend's sister's house. All sorts of kids loved my costume, even though they didn't know who the heck Sam and Max are. I kept getting stopped by kids and parents. All I heard is "doggy!" and "bunny!".

Of course, I got the usual from teens and adults calling me McGruff and one even said "a bear in a suit". A few people knew who I was and even then, they whispered among themselves than greet me... -_-;

BUT! Overall, I'm glad to make people happy or at least give them a chuckle.

About the other entries, I was up against some tough opponents! A couple of impressive artwork from David Pym and Aleksander Vujovic. And those pencil accessories (I would so want one... or two... or three...)! And of course, I fav'ed the Youtube Trick or Treat video. Jeez, what I'm I talking about? Everyone who was picked was awesome.

I hope you all (entered the contest or not) and Telltale had a great Halloween!
