i was on wii ware world and was taken a look at the SBCG4AP
and typed strong bad into the search bar and dropped down 4 options ep 2, ep 1, ep 3 and ep 4
i clicked on ep 4 and it called
Strong Bad Episode 4 - Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective
which makes sense when you think back to Email 80: Stunt Double (http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/stunt_double)
because Strong bad said that it would be in 3D (which the game is in duh)
so it should be sweet

but i think it should have been ep 3 but hey whatever telltale wants to do

Well, a Dangeresque themed episode being next in line does make sense. Seeing as they have been going in order and revisiting all the things from the original SBemails (for the most part)

Not long after "band names" was "stunt double"... as we all know.

But I think that they are going to be pretty tight lipped about episode 4 until about a week or two after episode 3 comes out. Thats the way telltale works, they give you lots o' info' at the beginning of (and before) each season, then when the final episodes come around, they clam up like a mafia informant; and the only way to get info out of them is to tie one of them to the front of the Don's car and "go for a little drive" down some back country roads... doing 80...

Or, you could just ask when the time is right, (you know, like after episode 3 is out :rolleyes:) but that takes all the fun out of it... I like to "work" for my inside scoop.

Also, yes... episode 3 should be out next week, and we should be hearing about it before Friday. No, this is not jumping to conclusions... its their release schedule, next to last Monday of each month. (Keeping a tight release schedule is one of telltales most important assets, though they would never say that... That knowledge takes a lot of the wonder out of things)

They only give clues for the next episode, which in this case was "Hey, where's barkeep Bubs?" "Bubble de bubble." "DJ Teh Cheat put on a Two-O Duo record and Bubs stormed out of the cloughb?" You do realize that that's the third or fourth time that link has been posted, and that's also what the original poster was talking about. However, that's the only web site to say that (other than sites linking to it). So far, we don't have any official word from Telltale.

It does seem likely since a couple of people from Telltale have posted in this thread without a denial, but we can't say for certain until they confirm it.

Here are the thought processes on both sides that likely led to the episode's creation...

The Brothers Chaps: Man, people won't stop bugging us about Dangeresque 3. It'd be cool to make, yeah, but we promised that it'd be in 3D, but we can't do that without doing a whole toon in red-blue 3D glasses style, which we don't think we could handle, or paying 3D animators to do it, which we don't think we can afford. If only there were a good way we could bring Dangeresque 3 out in 3D...

Telltale Games: You know what'd be a good idea for an episode? Something that contains - or is - something that the Brothers Chaps promised a long time ago but haven't been able to make, like the Duke Nukem Forever of Homestar Runner. The fans would be clamoring to buy it! We'd make villions. In fact, I'm adding that word to every dictionary in the office. Who's got a pen?

Of course, Telltale won't just slack off on Episode 4 just because the fans are guaranteed to buy it. Well, the evidence has become much less scant with the most recent Telltale newsletter. The only thing would be if they put the glasses in there to fool us and want people to hate them.

@BiggerJ: I wouldn't say they "promised" Dangeresque 3. Just because Strong Bad says something doesn't mean it will ever happen. One thing that you don't want to happen is to force humor into something. If they didn't feel that they could have made Dangeresque 3 funny enough, I would imagine it never would have been made. Obviously, though, they seem to have felt they could make it funny.

1.The point is to figure out if the plot for episode 4 really IS Dangeresque related. Since I have things to do and won't be able to be exactly there for the realease, the next person will be the groundhog. The groundhog's objective is too give the right awnser of the plot for Epi. 4.
2. You may NOT reveal the awnser. Only the groundhog may. You can still talk about a few theorys here, of course, but not the plot.

I think they're going to save the video game conspiracy for Episode 5 just like with Sam&Max where Everything comes together in a great Denouement with all the events coming together into one episode, with that one, mind-control conspiracy, this one, video game conspiracy.
