okay, i'm missing something simple here.

what do i need to do to blame strong sad when i throw the rock at the throught the window? I know i need to do something with the security things since strong sad wants to see something from a "street team". ingame hints doesnt help much.

appreciate the help. also aren't there usually a walkthrough on these pages somewhere a while after release? maybe I dreamt that.

I'm guessing by "throwing" rocks, you have the rock from Marzipan's.

Now, for recruiting the saddest of the Strongs (which I think is what you're asking)....and in trying to be like dangerzone with his awesome progressive hints:

What is Strong Sad doing presently as a job?
What does he say when you try to give him the jacket?
If you use the devil response..
Where have you seen musicians leave a mark?
What musicians might Strong Sad like to see there?
You need a way to get "Security" up on the Strong Badia Fence
Theres a stencil around somewhere..
At Bubs'
Now, there is no spraypaint, but what colored aerosol thing might stick to the wall?
Its "edible"
Its in the fridge
Its spray cheese!

And if you want to skip that other gobbledy-gook:
Put the stencil on the Strong Badian Fence, and spray it with cheese. Strong Sad will show up, Give him the jacket then

Actually, the "breaking the window" puzzle comes later, you can ignore it for the time being.

But, you are on the right track about vandalism... (just not the right brand of it)

Strong Sad mentioned vandalism, right? Know of any place where there is previously existing vandalism?
Like the Strong Badia fence?
In talking to strong sad about the jacket (a few times), you manage to dupe him into thinking that "security" is a new band, but he refuses to wear the jacket until they are "popular". ("Popular" meaning they have people vandalizing for them.)
So, lets give "security" a little hype... Use the stencil next to bubs stand on the fence...
Now we just need some spray paint...
Since spray paint seems to be in short supply round these parts, looks like we will have to find something else...
Actually, "anything" that is sprayed from a can will do the job...
There is a can of spray cheese in the fridge at the house, it will do the job just fine...
Once you complete the art, Strong Sad will show up, then just talk to him and complete the set up.

i know i saw a link from a post or the strong bad web pages for a previous episode so I thought it would be somewhere. thanks for that too. means I dont have to bother you next time :)

I dunno, man. Personally, I hate walkthroughs. It takes all the fun out if you get stuck! The whole forum thing and for-real hints is much more fun.

Yeah, writing (and hearing thanks for) good hints is fun... But a good idea for playing these types of games, is to never convince yourself that you have to do anything. Also, note that there is always another puzzle that can be worked on, if something does not make sence... come back to it later

Good point. There are some things, though that I don't think I coulda ever come up with without help. Like, um using the lighter on the window in EP2 or the last affection expression (kudos again to you for finding it) in EP3.
