Hi, I was about to order my 'free' Sam & Max Season 2 DVD (after realising that there was, in fact, no United Kingdom and I had to select Great Britain) and came to an abrupt halt when I reached the 'Review Payment' screen.

I wanted to get the DVD now and perhaps a couple of prints in the next few weeks but the 'economy' (lol) shipping option is a massive $47.95. This seems like an insane price for shipping, I checked my season 1 disc order from June last year and it was $9.95.

Has the cost of shipping to the UK, sorry, Great Britain :P really increased by almost 500%? I'm just hoping there is some miscalculation at work here because I can't possibly justify spending that much :(

Any clarification would be appreciated.

Do you see any USPS shipping options on the list, or just FedEx?

I just tried it using the mailing address we have on record for your last order, and I am seeing a $9.95 USPS rate for just the DVD, and $14.20 USPS rate if I add two prints to the order.

FedEx is like $45, so it almost sounds like the USPS option isn't showing up for you for some reason.

Hi Emily, thanks for the quick reply.

I tried to go through the process a couple of times and the only options I got were FedEx international economy and priority. I just read your post and gave it another try, the USPS first class option now appears and is selected by default. I swear it wasn't appearing before though

Not sure what happened but I can now happily put my order through without chopping off an arm for the shipping!

Might have been a temporary glitch. I'm glad to hear it's working now though!

I actually got two error emails from the USPS API this afternoon, which I'm guessing was you. It looks like their servers had a momentary hiccup or something.
