The 2nd Stickanee flower

I seriously can't figure out how to get this flower... I know what to do with it...

I've tried getting the growth formula from Cutesy Buttons... I've tried showing the knife to the many Strong Sad's... I've tried showing the photo of Paris to everyone... I've tried faking a flower with the photo...

The only clue I've got is that Cutesy says something about a sample of the original plant. But I can't get it off the stick, and the professor doesn't have any dialogue options about it ><

Anyone got any hint's for me?
