InstantAction - possible new distribution outlet for Telltale?

I just stumbled upon this article about a new web based game distributor called InstantAction. Check it out. (http://news.cnet.com/8301-10797_3-10170522-235.html?tag=rtcol;newsNow)

It sounds pretty interesting, I haven't checked out any of their games yet but it seems like it runs by using the same principle that allows people to access Second Life via their cellphones. That is that another computer does all of the processing and rendering of the game and a video feed of it is streamed to the user on their device. However I'm just speculating as I haven't had a chance to try the service myself.

So what do you guys think? Could this be another avenue for Telltale to spread their infectious brand of joy to the world?

Telltales games can't be rendered, man! They have to be lived!

That sounds pretty neat because I could play the pretty heavy games on my older and less powerful PCs, for example. Or phones, but that's a bit small. :D

Not quite! InstantAction is a browser-based service, but it still streams all of the game data to your local machine, and uses your graphics hardware to render it. It just does it via a proprietary browser plugin. I think it's similar to what Flashbang uses on Blurst.com, and to what id is doing with QuakeLive.com.

I personally have very little faith in OnLive, I would need to see it in action before it gets any support from me.
