Ung, sorry about that, I'm terrible with wallpaper sizes! I always just assume that a monitor can only go so wide so I work with the widest setting I know. I don't know anything though, so don't mind me!

Yeah, from Smash Brawl. Specifically, "Frozen Hillside" from Kirby Air Ride. That and Freezeezy Peak on the player were part of my Videogame Christmas Mix. I do have the Mother 3 soundtrack though!!

There's a severe lack of good Morgan pictures (certainly no original concept art, nudge nudge Telltale), but from what I saw when I did a quick collection of reference material, she isn't that busty. She's got a lot of lift in her top. Also, she's such a great character I feel that putting more focus on her sexual attributes would detract from her overall awesomeness.

But you might be right about her hips. And still I tried to make them big... :confused:

It's the same with Guybrush's cuffs. When I first drew Guybrush, I did the cuffs that are in the game, but when I saw the concept I was all like: GAH.

But then I played more of the game. So when I paid close attention to what his cuffs looked like in the game (for some reason, I forgot the concept), I drew another picture.

Then I saw the concept again and facepalmed for making the same mistake.

And then I realized they were different. I felt better.

The most pesky part (or i could say peskiest?_? whatever) was to choose the 16 palette colors, bcos in WinXp the boot screen must be max in 16 colors. Other colorful images will be automatically turned into 16 color ones but the "automatic-result" is not always so nice...! :P

Thanks! Though that hideous scanner-induced shadow on Elaine still bugs the heck out of me. I was struggling so much with the scanner that even one of the student faculties came to help me and he couldn't get it out either. He was all "what a shame, it's such a pretty pirate girl. Why don't you try Kinko's?" FFFFFF.

Please, nobody say the word "scanner" to me for a while.

Anyway, here's one final piece for today. In fact, I did it just now at this moment, 'cause I was playing a drawing game with some friends and one of our challenges was "the most d'aww-inducing mother-and-child drawing wins" so I did this. On that 3D Guybrush, make sure you remove that plasticy-ness when you texture him.

These are great! It's always nice to see so many different mediums being used, (even the Guybrush head designs look great) it tells a lot about how an artist can easily escape their comfort zone, which is something I feel everyone should try to do via self-discipline. I actually really like the clay model. I'm having a sculpting class next term so I don't know much about it yet and can't critique it properly, same for 3D stuff which I have yet to take, but they both look nice.
