Baking pies and getting dogs out of holes (Ep 3)

I'm still on Act 1 (just got the game today, on account of the fact I've been on vacation) and I've gotten the crank on the Infiniflavour and gotten the gnawing dog to calm down. I just need to get the last dog out of Ms. Flitt's yard. I know I need to get Crum's biscuits, and I'm pretty sure I need to bake him a pie to get him to forget about said biscuits. So what do I do?

forget about the pies for now, just find some competition for Crum.
