very first puzzle

Call me not too bright (at least not at 6:00am when I played), but I couldn't figure out the first puzzle with the swiss cheese. I clicked on everything, I talked to Max, I tried using the bowling ball, the boxing glove and the gun on just about everything, and I still couldn't find the swiss cheese to give the rat. Can anyone help me?

Did you find any cheese? If not, you need to keep looking. Max bought A LOT of cheese. Where could he stash it, so that it wouldn't get in the way of their daily activities?

If yes, you need to figure out how to turn that cheese into Swiss cheese...
