Did anyone else think the nose plant was going to help this guy out or was it just me XD

Slap me with a fish, but I thought that, too. And then, when the guy behind the door screamed "What have you done to my eye?!" I thought I was supposed to go do something with the eye-carvings on the jail for him. *Shakes head.* We've been at this sort of thing too long. :D

Also, I wonder if the messed up idol is called that because the puzzle was well... messed up XD

I thought it was going to be used on the mask that you broke the crystal nose out of.

Yup, tried that as well. Did you try clicking it on the spot on the wall beneath the eyes? I kept trying that for the longest time.

Lol yeah did that too, a nose can be very useful :P Was that mask even used in the end or was it a complete red herring because I don't remember using it :S

I thought the guy was going to come back as the small-time villain for the episode with the Marquis being the recurring villain that shows up in every episode. But all we got was the Marquis; and this guy just plain disappeared.

Actually I've competed that puzzle without knowing you have to listen to the "pleasured" moans of our "axle" (according to the walkthrough) - when you examine your wind-thingie, this idol is shown on the right, slightly off-focus.
And no, the mask is useless as of yet, but I think it will come into play in later episodes (which raises a question, can you leave the island without taking it?). Guess we'll just have to wait and see...

No, but I suppose Guybrush might still have it in the next episode?

The mask is required, you show it to De Singe to prove that you've been to his secret hide out. If you don't have it, De Singe doesn't believe you.

Ahh I didn't think of that, for a second I forgot there was going to be a next one o_O Maybe I tried to blank it out of my memory so I didn't have to remember I have to wait for a month D':
