here's my desktop as it is currently: desktop image

It looks a bit weird because of my dual monitor setup - one is a widescreen set to 1440x900 resolution, and the other is just standard with a resoulition of 1280x1024. Oh and the backgrounds the same on both monitors, which is why I didn't bother minimising Firefox.

Here is mine. I just bought a widescreen monitor last night, so the desktop is extra wide. And yes, I am another Windows Vista user.

This is my current desktop. I'd have Launch of the Screaming Narwhal there but I already beat it and I don't have all kinds of space on my 40GB hard drive. I could put it on my 640GB external hard drive....but I didn't. So there. But I do have it.

Here is mine from a while ago, but it's basically the same. The theme is from deviantart and I made the wallpaper myself.

Using one of my unfinished environment backdrops to remind me to continue working on my game and not to give up until its done. :)

I need to make a new wallpaper. I've had this one for ages, and it was made for a much smaller resolution than the one I have now. But I still kind of like it.

I'll probably get rid of those icons in the top right later. But for now I like having them all lined up like that.

I got a new wallpaper, this time with the album cover of a favorite band of mine.

Taking a screenshot and posting it up on the forum is quite simple. For windows user who wanted to take a screen shot, do the following:

1. show the desktop (either click on show-desktop or minimise all opened windows); rearrange your icons if need be.

2. hit the PrtScr button (usually located next to the function keys)

3. open up image editing programme. Paint will work.

4. hit Ctrl+V.

5. Touch-up, resize and upload to a free hotlinkable image site. Something like Imageshack is good enough.

6. In a new post here, add the url of the uploaded image within the [img ] tag.

I'll share my desktop after I clean up some of the icons a bit...
