Hints on finding the 3 summoning artifacts! Spoilers Eventually
 

Go to the chamber where Elaine is settling a dispute with the Head mer-person and pirate. The following aren't spoilers, because she will TELL you where to find the gold artifacts:

-The golden turtle is in the Spoon Islane jungle with LeChuck
-The 2 pirates on the beach have the golden sea horse
- The 'Cranky Fish' is rumored to buried in the shipwreck of Roe Island


To Get Golden Turtle:
-Wander around the jungle paths I recalling making a left, and then a a whole lot of right turns
-Oh no, it's LeChuck! But he sure looks pinker than usual. Maybe we can chat with him
- These clam shells look familiar. But LeChuck wants to figure out how to use the clamshells on his own!
[ spoiler]Maybe you can give him 'hints' and lead him to the solution (kinda like what I'm doing) By the way the turtle is hidden inside that structure on the cliff. activating both clams will open it[/spoiler]

Fixing the staff
-LeChuck's staff looks just like yours-- except it's missing a piece. Where would find that piece?
-Perhaps inside a real clam? Where can you find some real sea life?
-Maybe that coupon on the ground will help?
-Go to bait shoppe and exchange the coupon for a clam. Open it up and you'll find the missing piece for Lechuck's Staff

Finally, retrieving the Golden turtle
Give pearl to Lechuck
walk him through the instructions "Use...pearl...staff...clamshell"
LeChuck activated his--Ok, your turn

Ok we need to pry this turtle out! Any prying objects available?
Maybe someone tried to pry the object before, but failed and left the crow bar right next to the turtle ?
Guybrush should have trained at the gym more! Maybe he should go lift weights.. No time for that! Find someone stronger than guybrush to pry loose the turtle
Yeah, he's right behind you. I don't trust him either, but you'll have to this time

To Get Golden Seahorse
-Those 2 pirates on the beach have it! There MUST be a way to outsmart them
-Looks like they're in an argument. Maybe you can use this to your advantage.
-They also seem paranoid about burying the treasure
- You can talk the pirates into burying and retrieving the treasure. But you'll need to track them somehow,so you KNOW where to dig

- Trick the pirates into the staring contest with each other. distract them and slip the pyrite parrot into the treasure chest

- Sail to the tiny remote island in the UPPER RIGHT CORNER of the map. Its easy to miss, but it's there
- follow the bird!

Any ideas for the 3rd part (Cranky Fish)

I think i've got every item including the glowing bait and i assume all i need to do is fish it from the fishing well. Am i on the right track? if so how do you do it?

Tried sailing around to the smaller Islands? Note: with the main ship, not the raft

To Get the Golden Cranky Fish

-If you WISH to know, the fish is hidden WELL
-How does one catch a fish?
-Perhaps You'll need some bait. But not any bait will do

Getting the bait
-Explore that old shack abandoned shack
-Anything in your inventory from the previous episode?
-Remember, the voodoo priestess and her man were in 'love'. what symbol represents love?
-Ever since they broke up, there was an empty space that needed to be filled.
-Any objects in the shack that could use a patching up?
-Use the locket in the manatee hole

This piece of paper is blank! Or is it?
-Any manatee themed eye pieces in your inventory?
-Any other manatee-like objects on the main island?
- use the eye of the manatee with the red lens to read the paper
-Go read a book for once!

Got the bait? Good!
-You can't just toss the bait in the well
-Anything in your inventory you can fashion into a make-shift fishing device? Pole? hook? net? etc?

Hi, I have the other two but need the cranky fish...I have the piece of paper but when I use the eye of the manatee with it Guybrush says there's something written on it but it's too small to read. What is the red lens? I can't get the special bait yet and there aren't any books at the library that Guybrush can ask for...help!

I can't see an island in the UPPER RIGHT CORNER, only Roe Island. Do not understand!

try hopping on your main ship . It look by the Rock of Gelato

when i try to put the bird into the chest they turn around and say to me not to put anything into the chest. What am i doing wrong?

You're on the right track, but with the way they're standing, if you have them just turn around one of them can still see you move. You'll have to fix that first.

Once your mast is fixed by the Mer-people, take a trip on your boat and look at your on-board map, you might see that island there

Think laterally - "look behind you...".... consider the way they are looking. If you asked them both to "look behind you", what would they do? This time think literally. How could you set it up so that both are looking 180 degrees in the opposite direction and make them turn from the chest?

Yeah, some of it is pretty strange, but that's what puzzle games are all about, right.
