Masterlist of fan adventure games worth playing

While waiting for another MI episode, maybe you can recommed some high quality fanmade adventure games?

Here are few I liked or I'm waiting to be released:

1. Out of Order - Game's site + download
Funny, surrealistic game with suprising ending. For plot details - visit the site.

2. Trader of Stories - Author's blog and Demo download - that's the one I'm really waiting for, as it's made by fellow Polish man (but it's in English). It tells a story of a woman who's collecting tales looking for the story of herself. Worth checking.

3. Probably well-known Indiana Jones and Fountain of Youth

4. First episodic attempt on Monkey Island - fanmade remake of MI2: LCR - Download. Funny and challenging. Only minor complains are graphics and controls.

I'll post some more later if cross anything worth playing or checking progress.
Got other good fan adventures?

Zak McKracken - Between Time and Space
(German only at the moment)
The New Adventures of Zak McKracken (Not sure where to get this from anymore)
Maniac Mansion Deluxe (Also not sure)
Broken Sword 2.5 (German voices with English subtitles, among other languages, English voices soon)

The best ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Oh, and an unfinished one.

Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Youth
(There's a demo, though)

Check the AGS site. It has a ton of fan-made adventures. Some of my favorites are:
Ben Jordan - Paranormal Investigator, Apprentice 1, 2 and 3, Spooks, Nelly Cootalot: Spoonbeaks Ahoy! and many, many more. A guy named buloght made a few cool games (Knightsquire, Family Treasure, etc), but I can't find them for some reason. Anyway, there are lots of fangames on the AGS site, you chould check it out.

The entire Ben Jordan series is great. Any of Yahtzee Croshaws games.

Did the original MI2 suck that hard? Surely not. The keep explaining everything & making bad jokes about how everything is a plot device.

If you're reffering to M:I 2 - it's not that real MI2 sucked. It's rather a tribute to oryginal MI2 than anything else. And a nice parody.

It isn't only that... you can't use any of the items... or save from what I can tell

Novotnus 08/25/2009 08:50 am

True - I mentioned problem with controls. And that's true, you can't save, but at some points you get passwords which takes you to the point you got it. And the episodes are short, so you probably won't have problem with saves.

See... there is a major problem with that.... you can't beat the game if you can't use items

Novotnus 08/25/2009 12:23 pm

I could, I've beaten it...
