Maybe I'm just really behind but I just found De Cava's journal and after looking through it, I am fascinated with his story! I mean, what was with the "she will thank me for this!" next to the picture of la Esponja Grande? Could he possibly be trying to cure her of some voodoo pox we weren't aware of? Wouldn't that be a twist!

Also, the contraption that he claimed "will never work". What is it? All of the stuff in his journal leaves me with so many questions! I can't wait for the next chapter of TMI! Each one gives us a little more background on him. I'm so excited!

Well but seeing the concept art it seems to have worked. At least we will find De Cava in Episode 3.

I'm really excited. I think he's gonna be an awesome character. Its also nice to know that the voodoo lady had a social life at one point. Every game she's just sitting around her little huts doin voodoo stuff.

The Monkey page was kind of out of nowhere. I wonder if they connect to everything or if they're just a random part of the game.

I think he thought about making a submarine to reach the Lair, but then realised it won't work. So he found the Leviathan and entered the "mouth" hoping it would lead him to the Lair.

And I think he made the summoning artifacts out of fools gold.

Where do you see this journal?

I guess the journal is trying to explain how De Cava found his way to the lair. Cuz he obviously didn't get the summoning artifacts nor did he know the summoning words. So it must be trying to explain all the missing info.

Ah, my treasure hunt stuffed up. I used the Wii codes after map 1, and I added the others, but I don't have any maps in my inventory.

I found the things.

It just won't show up in game. Due to a glitch.

It says I have it on the internet Treasure Hunt Game, but it doesn't show up in Ep1.

hope some of of this stuff appears in the game.

It could have been a reference to Escape from Monkey Island, because on that page he wrote, 'Where have all the monkeys gone?' In Escape from Monkey Island, all of the monkeys in the Caribbean disappear to Monkey Island.

Maybe he thinks she's "sponge-worthy"...

Yeah, but that would be kind of random and irrelevant, seeing as it wouldn't connect to the story at all while all the other pages do. Some of the drawings of the monkeys though resemble the ones in the cover art, so they are probably the monkeys LeChuck abducted. It would be cool if they are all related to the whole pox thing somehow. That would explain why LeChuck is using them so much. I don't buy the whole return them to the wild excuse he's giving. They are of some use to him somehow.
