Achievement issue: Monster Master
 

I've obtained 180 achievements out of 200 in the latest Sam & Max for XBox 360.

Unfortunately, the game has ended on a sour note: I replayed Night of the Raving Dead specifically to obtain the Master Monster achievement.

The opportunity to implant all available body parts in Frankenstein comes late in the game.

I implanted every single item on the table beside him, plus Lincoln's brain, Jesse James' hand, and the heart of gold.

Result: no achievement.

Is there a certain order to performing this operation? Having failed the first time, there is no opportunity to try again... except to go through the whole episode again.

does anyone have any insights into what may be wrong? apart from a possible glitch?

I have no actually idea of how you can actually get the achievement, but, did you try to put, for example, the chip as a heart and as a brain? Then with the rock? There's several parts you can use as a heart or as a brain (I never tried this, but, what about the gold heart as a brain and the lincoln brain as a heart?)

a problem with this particular achievement (Monster Master) is that the opportunity to get it appears late in the episode and you only get one crack at getting it right.... (unlike AI interrogator or Sandwich Seller)

that is why i would like to hear from those who got it easily (what did you do -- and in what order, if order matters?) and from those who, like me, did not get the achievement.

Then I will consider all of the advice received and try again......

What's about (Again, I have no idea how is the Xbox version of the game, sooo...) make a save point in that particular point? You know, for not to restart all the game again? Or there a rule you have to restart all the game for get an achievement?

Did you put the chocolate heart in as well, before you turned it to gold?

no, i did not do that.
I alchemized the chocolate heart immediately.

Is that the secret to getting this achievement?

Well, you do need to add the chocolate heart. there may be more parts though(some brains can double as hearts)

Oops, forgot to check this forum. Yeah, you get a unique response if you use the chocolate heart on the monster.
