Vote for Tales for 2009 Nintendo Power
 

Nintendo Powers polls have opened and Tales has been nominated for a few awards.
I forget all of the awards, but I remembered that tales was nominated for best wiiware game(as a whole, not each individual episode) and best newcomer(morgan leflay) and at least one more(maybe) so vote now

Sheesh, Morgan has it really easy since I doubt many people actually know who the rest of those characters are. It's like she was meant to win!

EDIT: Also, man, they were so robbed for voice acting nomination! It's way better than the rest of the games in that category.

I don't remember tales being nominated for games of the year.
EDIT: and yeah I agree on the morgan thing, i only new Xion and her, and well, Xion was a decent character, but still, Morgan was better, and I bet none of us ever thought tales 1 was going to end like that with her having a sword up to Guybrush's neck and then chopping his hand off in part 2

This ballot has it under "Overall Game of the Year" category.

I didn't play many new games this year due to my re-discovering an old series and spending most of my cash on that (Phoenix Wright <3). So it was pretty easy to vote for Tales. ^^

Game of the Year seems unlikely (can't remember what it was up against, but... it's Nintendo Power, so a Nintendo game will probably win), but I think it can win something. And it will be sweet.

Its a shame that Tales wasn't listed for best writing.

I voted, I feel good. I also did a lot of spamming to MI fans on various websites about the ToMI, I feel a little guilty about that... but still good.

I'm a little astounded it didn't get nominated for best story or best voice acting.

i voted for little kings story over monkey island in a few categories... but morgan beat out little king in the new character category

Me too, or best soundtrack for that matter. Ah well.

But I did give a nod for "Ghostbusters." :D

Half of those games, I've never even heard of, so for the ones that I couldn't vote for ToMI on, I just put titles that my friends told me were good. Hope Tales wins!

It was nice to see Tales nominated in so many categories, although there were some pretty glaring oversights where it should have been nominated (looking at you, voice acting!)

No voice acting?
No story?
No way....

Still, I voted in pretty much all areas for Tales of Monkey Island because there wasn't really any others I liked as much.
