Arm Wrestling

While I managed to get the solution, I have a problem with this puzzle in that the puzzle does not specify the format of the tournament, but uses it as a critical assumption in the solution.

yeah, I just assumed correctly that the format of the tournament was three round elimination, just because it seemed like the most logical way to conduct the tournament. It was confusing though.

I just randomly picked amongst the 4 (and got it right the second time) :p.

But yeah, I assumed it was 1 round knock-out or something...

Agreed, but the way i saw it the answer could of only been 1 of 2 ppl...
