Woah, whats with all the bad reviews? Shame. Hope they don't deter anybody from playing it.

Still, the average grade of the reviews that gave a score is 6.6/10 so far. So the reviews aren't exactly stellar.

I think that's a pretty fair shake for the game. There's a lot to improve upon, even if it's enjoyable. Three stars out of five sounds about right to me, even though as a fan of Grickle I wish it had better ratings. :)

The game is great, but:
1. The (great) graphics fail on close-ups. Should be improved somehow. 2. There was (at least) one puzzle that was impossible without hints (I think). 3. The game didn't really end, but that's ok because it's a pilot. 4. Some glitches here and there, but clearly this isn't a legit flaw. 5. Notable lack of giving the player some choice and freedom, even at points in the game where it's appropriate. 6. Some solutions are not accepted even if they work. (sorry, no screenshot, by the way is there a screenshot button?) 7. Lack of Puzzle Madness mode where you must complete as many puzzles as you can in a limited amount of time. Come on, it's an obvious addition! :P Would need some sort of randomly-generated puzzles or something though, otherwise wouldn't really be puzzles anymore. :P Well I can't think of anything else right now. I can't wait to not tell my mom that I spent $10 on Puzzle Agent for my iPod Touch :P |
neatnit do u have the game on ur ipod? or just waiting for its release?

A Hardy Developer's Journal - 3/5
http://hardydev.com/2010/07/01/nelso...oggins-review/ |
I tend to agree with the reviews. It was a good game, but most of the puzzles were just randomly dragging things, or the rules were too vague to understand first go.
And I hated the screamers. Music was fantastic though. |
