Just bought BTTF Game for $19.95..WOOOHOO

I couldnt take it any longer and I just bought the whole game. I finished watching the Trilogy today and I just had to order it. I need to know what happens. Ive been waiting for a BTTF game for a long long time. Especically after the BTTF Nintendo and BTTF2 games were so bad!
Anyways, I got the game for $19.95 by following a link off the BTTF Facebook game. WOOOOOHOOOO.. I cant wait for Dec 22nd now!!

DerJan 12/16/2010 10:01 am

I paid $ 24.95 for the game... strange.

Didn't you just buy the CARD game by accident, thinking it was the videogame?

Vainamoinen 12/16/2010 10:24 am

That seems to be the only possible explanation, sorry seth! :(

No, i just bough the whole game. All 5 episodes with serial number. It gave me an extra $5 off. I did not get the card game. I got the full BTTF game with Puzzle Agent (for free) as my order for $19.95

gamefrey 12/16/2010 10:28 am

Nope. He's right.

Today's it's $19.95, as I just bought it for that price.

Did you happen to accidentally make a pact with the devil?

Then I would say good for you. :)
Seems like you made a real good deal.

i just checked it again. I wish i knew how to take a screen shot to post it up. Just go to Facebook. Play the game "Back to the Future : Blitz through Time" and on the top of the game there is a banner that says.

"BACK TO THE FUTURE THE GAME"
Starts December 22, 2010
PRE-ORDER TODAY FOR $19.95
YOU SAVE $5.00

All of that is in picture format though.

Click on the top banner on top of the BTTF Blitz Game. It takes you to telltalegames website. There is a pop up screen. Click on "BUY NOW"
it puts it in your cart. Valued at $24.95 but you get it for $19.95..

I HIT THE JACKPOT!!

I almost did that once... but I decided I really didn't need a candy bar THAT bad.

Also welcome to the boards... stick around we have a good time here.

As for it being "fair" I would have paid over $30..... so MUAAHAHAHAHA.... TTG didnt get all the money they could have.

You know, there was once a Telltale that gave refunds to people after they made Abe Lincoln Must Die a free game. There was once a Telltale that, when they added a major promotion for buying Wallace and Gromit right after the first episode launched, applied it retroactively to all the people who had already pre-ordered the game, even though they had a special price break offer already.

Between the card game offer and this, you know what? Telltale, you suck.

Well..i bought my copy of BTTF for 17.90...i guess the promotions are overlapping one another.

Irishmile 12/16/2010 06:37 pm

I got it for my last slice of pizza..... and a kind word.

Shadowknight1 12/16/2010 06:48 pm

Ehhh...I'm just getting the first free episode to see if it runs on my laptop. If it does, then I might spring for the rest of the season, but in all honesty, I'll probably just get it on my PS3.

Oh, for goodness sake.

I always find Mr. Dashing's rants entertaining myself... I imagine him as a very angry person... but he always comes back around for more TTG....

knightdog15 12/16/2010 07:14 pm

Rather Dashing does have a valid point though :P

jp-30 12/16/2010 07:21 pm

Yes, he does. My comment was about the way he expressed it. It seems early pre-order folk are being penalised five whole dollars (the price of admission to the Insiders forum, the exclusive chats and contests maybe?). But if you want to open a dialogue about it, throwing your toys out of the cot and yelling insults isn't probably the best way to go about it.

He was happy enough (I assume) to pay $25 for the season in the first place.

LuigiHann 12/16/2010 07:59 pm

Telltale has gone from absurdly generous to just regular generous, yes. Oh well. It'd be nice if they implemented some sort of pre-order price/bonus guarantee, but there was no such guarantee in place at the time that I ordered.
