Lets disscuss about the proposed Monkey island movie
 

Now I think there may be people who are aware of this, while others are not. But there were plans for an animated Monkey island movie. Sadly, these plans didn't get off the ground. Info about this movie is here.

What do u think of this? I assume this was brought up during the 90's while Curse was in production. I think we would have gotten ourselves a killer 2D animated film of Monkey Island.

I could make a Monkey Island movie, if I had enough english-speaking people around me. Not animated, live action. It's pretty simple actually. :)

But, sadly, no crew big enough.

Go around town and recruit :D.

Tempt them with cushy government jobs.

Beat them in a banjo duel or a caber toss.

You can always get a whole bunch of animators looking for work if your lucky enough. Anyways, I thought this was a joke. But the concept artwork is proof of a real deal film.

Pshah, my shed has a fake Christmas tree in it. It's waaaaaay better than yours.

Probably with more spiders hanging from it than decorations.
