Forum vs Forum
 

So, I was running around this idea in my head, since a lot of us have TTGC pride and a lot of us find this our second home on the internet. Why don't we show other forums, like challenging them for supreme forum dominance. I know the penny arcade forum has a lot of forum pride, and such others...then what happened in japan, maybe doing a vs thing for charity, to help raise money for the victims in Japan, who lost a lot...in the last few days?

What do you all think?

We could challenge them to a battle of gaming...like, adventure gaming. Playing the hardest of the hard.

That sir is made of win, now all we have to do is figure out rules, and guidelines...you know logistic stuff.

How about each forum tries to get as many replies as possible in a single thread.
The twist being that the thread they have to 'score' in is in their opponents forum.

Hey, I'm up for anything that involves raising money for Japan. Even in areas unaffected by the quake directly, like Tokyo, they are quickly running out of food, water, electricity, and gasoline.

For charity? Of course! Heck, I might go send them some money right now. Well, I wouldn't know how.

Given that the only thing I can do for Japan is pray, as I'm currently broke as hell, I totally support this,

A gaming battle for charity would be fantastic!

Perhaps a TF2 battle.
I know we have some very terrible awesome players.

I just have to think of how it would work, and whether...we can get other forums to Participate...and the such. Either TF2 Battle, and or Setting up Video game challenges. I'll let you guys know.

Another decent idea would be speed runs where each forums choose their own games for play(for instance, we could choose a telltale episode we find challageing for a speed run, then they can decide their own) or perhaps a giant poll of popular games that we all then decide on.

Team based point system based on challenges?

How about setting a record for how fast you can pass Monkey Kombat in EFMI?

On second thought, a TF2 battle or Telltale Marathon is fine.

Yeah any online game would be good but TF2 is probably the best known among the forum people.
