I'm stuck on the part where I need to get Trixie her stuff... where do I get the fur?

Look at the Hill Valley of the Past display. I'm sure something will catch your eye.

The dioramas of the future and past Hill Valley models each have an item you will need.

I'm stuck at this point too, but the Past display isn't open yet. Is this a bug or do I need to do something to open it?

Come back to it later. Go visit Emmett and complete some of the objectives at his lab. It'll open up eventually.

How can I get the wheels? I am stuck at the exhibition.

Yeah, I don't have access to Emmett yet. I assumed that, if the hints I was given were only for Trixie, there wasn't a way to get to him yet.

... Is it the truck? Am I supposed to convince Cueball to give me a lift?

For the wheels:

Click on the train in the Hill Valley of the Future diorama.

That's it, then. You need the wheels to get to Emmett. Instead of the truck, look around for another method of transportation, perhaps a smaller one.

I'm stuck on getting the fur out. The in-game hints say to use Emmett's cleanser but I've been pixel-hunting in his lab for ages and can't find it.

Edit: Sorry, I'm being stupid. All I had to do is attempt to ruin his clothes.

OK, I have the skateboard but I don't appear to be able to leave the Expo. A little nudge in the right direction please?
