I believe that everything purchased from TT directly is separate from steam purchases. I have heard people say about many games that if you need a steam code, you have to purchase it again on steam. I believe this would be true with this game as well. I purchased this game and did not receive anything for steam. So I think you would have to purchase it on steam to get that.
