[WD] PS3 Walking Dead Unlock Not Working!!!
 

I purchased the season pass from Gamestop earlier today and then redeemed the code on my PS3, it downloaded a walking dead theme and a "episode 1 - a new day (full game) unlocker" and the unlocker downloaded but nothing is showing up after that and I don't know how to get to the actual game. HELP!

I don't have the official word on this, but from my limited experience with PSN, I've always had to download the demo AS WELL as the unlocker. Give that a shot.

I will say it's weird that the code didn't download both though.

This is the same problem I'm having but this isn't fixing it.
Idownloaded the trial for PS3 in the UK when it came out, and today bought the Season Pass.
I downloaded the unlock and the theme, and it says they've downloaded but the theme isn't there and the demo just keeps on cutting out when it gets to the end.
I've tried 'Downlad All', I've tried downloading them seperately, I even tried deleting the demo, just downloading the unlock, and that didnt work. So I've redownloaded the demo and the unlock AGAIN and it still not working.
Can anyone help me PLEEEEASE!

Yeah I cant unlock the next episode and i did but that season pass what do i do?

Sorry, but this is something you would need to contact Sony support for help with. Downloading both the trial and the unlock file is the correct way to do it, so if that's not working for you, there's not much I would be able to do to help, unfortunately.




The Walking Dead is an episodic game. The second episode will be out soon, but it hasn't been released yet.

I found the answer!! It seems tech support is a oxymoron. I had exactly the same issue. After reading some postings a user mentioned he could not activate The Walking Dead theme. I then went to Themes and tried to select an object that was only listede a "theme". After which the following text came up:

To access the content your must activate this system.
Sign on with the account that was used to purchase this content, select [System Activation under [PlayStation Network] > [Account Management], and then activate this system.

I searched around on the PSN page but found nothing on activation.

I then used the XMB and went to the PlayStation Network Icon>Account Management>System Activation>PS3 System>Game

After activation I was able to download the episode 1 unlock, episode 2 and was able to apply the theme.

I should get a refund for fixing the PSN tech support issues.

I brought the season pass today for £15.00 BUT i cant find the demo on the ps store!

Do a search for 'Walking Dead' and you'll see it in the results list.

I found that the reason mine wasn't working was I got the full game unlock but the chapters kept saying get and I tried all of the solutions here but none worked so finally I hit get and I find that after buying the unlock the chapters were free so you have to buy them seperatley I hope this helps!
