I'm in Australia, with a pc....
 
i was hoping to buy this game(soon), i can clearly see it on steam from my australian server. question is what happens if i'm able to buy the game then later it gets taken off steam? should i just buy it from here instead or does it use/need steam regardless?

If you buy it from Telltale's store it doesn't use steam.

The choice is yours. The game does not require Steam if bought through TTG.
